Having a Blast!

        One of my favorite past times as a kid was shooting skeet... or as some of the newbies call it; "clay pigeons". I always found it a challenge in many ways in following a little orange discs that whizzes through the air at top speed with the tip of your shotgun just to annihilate it at the pull of a trigger... absolutely adrenaline pounding!!! It's ok if some of you think I'm a little weird about this.... and that's because I am! I absolutely love the smell of burnt gunpowder the feeling of a sore shoulder and enjoy the fun fellowship that usually comes along with it. Even though I live in the heart of Hinsdale IL, I was still able to get out and relive a memory from the past, thanks to some great friends.  Try it some time! you might end up liking the sport of shooting skeet!  ;)  WARNING: this sport is very addictive.

~Learning what it means to Wait...

         Often, I tend to plunge ahead like a numb skull that I can tend to be, without asking God for direction or even advice... I feel like I always should be doing something! This last week, God has been teaching me to wait, learn and listen to the Holy Spirit. Not an easy task for someone who cant even hold still for an hour on Sunday morning
        But along with learning to wait comes the overwhelming sense of God's peace. I find it hard to experience this when I'm in the "rush" mode of life. I love how Oswald Chambers put's it ;

"When our Lord speaks peace, He makes peace, His words are ever Spirit and life."

May God bless you today with His Peace and the patience to Wait.

Peru Finale ~

        Sorry, the time between the end of the Peru trip and the beginning of the Indianapolis ATI conference was a little short. I have finally made it through all the pictures from the Peru trip. Allot of good memories were made in that country, I believe that God has a huge plan for this people group. I just want to thank all my few and faithful prayer warriors who were bringing me and the team before the throne of grace. We could definitely feel the prayers and God answered those in amazing ways throughout the whole trip. Many, many people were led to the Lord and more so received the message of His love. I know that the members of the team that were praying were directly involved with each of those that came to know to the Lord. :) Looking back, I know that God has so much in store for the work that was just started there and I'm excited to see what God will begin to do there in the upcoming future!

God Bless!
