Duluth MN ~

Another Home School Convention has come and gone.... we can now officially say, 2 down and 7 to go.  =)
Again it was a very neat time to get away from the norm and connect with so many others homeschooling families that had never heard about the ATI program or even Mr. Gothard. I t was really neat to see the openness in the people of MN. Kind, good natured and down to earth people with a real hunger for the truths of God. I pray that we were a light and testimony for Him this weekend. I enjoyed the teamwork cause with out it,.... who knows where we'd be.  ;)

Early morning Walk...

I love the smell of the early morning air and the to see the sun coming up. There is no other time that I feel that it's just God and I  more than when I take a walk early in the morning or late at night and see the evidence his handy work in nature.  "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope through the power of the Ghost."  Romans 15:13

Cincinnati OH ~

Listening to the thunder and the rain fall and watching the lightning streak across the sky last night was the highlight of my weekend!  There is something very relaxing about a good thunderstorm and in some ways I believe it’s allot like how God speaks to us. Starting on Thursday we headed down to Cincinnati for a home school convention of 9,000+ people. It was the first time I have ever done anything like this before and I was a little unsure of how the whole process was supposed to work out. Praise the Lord, it all worked out in the long run. We were able to cover our costs for the trip and we had the opportunity to meet so many new families and share about the ministry and what God is doing here.
The Duggars were featured at the conference and we were able to interact with their family a little bit. We had a blast! In addition to my travels this year Reggy (Our long loved mascot for the IBLP publications team) is retiring to let his son take over  J  it adds a little fun to the trip. Reggy Jr. will be traveling with me to 9 different states in the next 4 months, so I’m sure we’ll get quite close.  ;)
Here are some pictures from the weekend, none are really good quality because the lighting was awful but I tried in our few spare moments.  It was definitely a blur looking back over it but my prayer is that God was glorified and that people were able to obtain the materials that they needed.
